Dead battery. Great.

I don't have a second car, but I've got something better- a motorcycle equipped with accessories from The Cycle Guys. I strapped on my Fast Rack, and two minutes later I was on my way to the auto parts store to pick up a new battery. All I needed was my Fast Rack aluminum luggage rack, and a bungee net.

When I returned home, I installed the new battery and the van was ready to go. Just because it was fun, I returned the old battery to the auto parts store on my Fast Rack-equipped Triumph.

Luggage For Buells

Buell makes some great bikes! But unfortunately, the aftermarket doesn't offer as much for Buell owners as for some other more generic bikes. The Cycle Guys' FastPack size 2 fits Buell FIREBOLT (03-09) 1125R & 1125CR (08-09) models, offering the carrying capacity of a tankbag, but with the convenience of being able to disappear when you don't want a bag. When empty or near empty, the FastPack cleverly collapses and with the turn of a zipper, the bag essentially disappears to become a stylish carbon-fiber embossed, padded seat cover. It never needs to be removed from the bike, and small items like cellphone/keys/etc. can be placed in the FastPack and you can still keep it in the down position. When fully deployed, the FastPack holds about 8 liters of your gear- a jacket for those early morning manuevers, or a quick trip to the grocery store. Forget about bulky backpacks or tankbags that get in the way of your riding- the FastPack does it all and disappears when you don't need it. All of this for only $69.95! Available from The Cycle Guys, at www.thecycleguys.com or (714) 357-1102. I had my motorcycle at her house, and when it was time to go home, she kindly offered me the box of leftover pizza to take with me. Fortunately, my bike was equipped with a Cruise Pack, so carrying the pizza was easy! I just unzipped the Cruise Pack, put the pizza box inside, and off I went. The next day, that pizza made a tasty lunch! Without the Cruise Pack, I was not about to put that pizza box inside my jacket and because my bike is low 'n lean, saddlebags just aren't my thing. The new Cruise Pack from The Cycle Guys might be just what you need. It's a padded pillion that goes onto your bike's rear fender with eight super strong suction cups, similar to other lick 'em and stick 'em pillion pads. But the Cruise Pack does something the other ones don't- it's got a full-perimeter zipper that, when unzipped, unleashes a bag big enough to swallow a six pack of your favorite beverage with room to spare. Space for enough clothes for a quick overnighter, or to carry your lunch to work. When you don't need the bag, youjust zip it down and it's a comfy p-pad again. The Cruise Pack fits rear fenders 7 inches or wider, which means just about all modern bikes. The Cycle Guys recommend that you clean your fender before installation, for best results. Suggested retail price $99.95. The FastPack installs on your stock back seat (not the cowl), and retracts when not needed. When the bag is deployed, you've got room a'plenty to carry your lunch, groceries, an extra helmet, jacket liner for when the weather gets cold...you get the idea. 8 liters of cargo. When you don't need the bag, simply press it down and seal the perimeter zipper, and it becomes a carbon fiber seat cover, with a little extra padding for your passenger. Or, you can throw a few small things like cell phone, wallet, and keys in the FastPack, and still zip it down- you'll barely notice they're even there, yet they are held securely and out of the way. Tankbags get in the way and scratch your paint! Backpacks are cumbersome and interfere with spirited riding. The FastRack gives you a place to attach saddlebags to, and holds your saddlebags away from your bike's bodywork to help avoid expensive paint damage.
Luggage Rack for Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Ducati, Triumph, CBR, 599, 919, VFR, 675, Speed Triple, 955, FZ-1, R1, R6, FZ-6, Aprilia Tuono, RSV Mille, Katana, Bandit, 999, Hayabusa

Cruise Pack- Pillion and Bag for Rear Fender

It's finally here- the Cruise Pack, a suction cup rear seat that also doubles as a bag! HAYA-FRIGGIN-BUSA!!

New FastPack Tailbag for your Beloved 'Busa! The FastPack installs on your stock back seat (not the cowl), and retracts when not needed. When the bag is deployed, you've got room a'plenty to carry your lunch, groceries, an extra helmet, jacket liner for when the weather gets cold...you get it. The FastPack does not touch your paint, is always there when you need it, and disappears when you don't! $72.95 from The Cycle Guys.

The FastPack- Convenient Luggage Solution for Ducati 1098

The FastPack, by The Cycle Guys, is a revolutionary new tail bag that retracts into a seat pad. When the bag is deployed, you can carry a six-pack and your lunch, or enough clothes for a quick overnight trip. When you don't need the bag, simply press it down and seal the perimeter zipper- poof, it's gone! The padded seat cover has a carbon fiber emboss to it, so it actually improves the looks of the bike. How many tail bags can say that? Plus, it's only $72.95: compare that to the Ducati Performance tail bag @ $200. Did I mention that this FastPack fits the 1098, 1198, 848, and Streetfighter? Note that it only fits over the stock passenger seat- not the cowl.

Oh, one other thing; you can throw small items like a cell phone, keys, camera, gloves in there and still zip the bag down, and you'll barely notice it's in there. Perfect for day rides when you don't want to carry that stuff in your jacket pocket.
